Venetia Jackson is a freelance graphic designer of unique and quirky t-shirts and emotive book covers.

Venetia has designed the cover for Philippa’s debut fantasy novel The Edict.  Working both for Inspire Quill Publishing House and freelance, Venetia has plenty of experience with both ebook and print book cover design.


Venetia takes the time to listen to what your story is about, what you are capturing in your book, and what you want to convey to your readers through the cover.


Talking concepts with Venetia is easy. She’s very open and friendly, allows you to spout everything you need to, and then uses her expertise and creativity to draw together what she thinks will best portray your novel in terms of elements, layout and colours.


Venetia always goes the extra mile. A self-taught illustrator and photoshop user she has gained skills that mean she can produce covers for loads of different genres of book.

Venetia was so supportive and friendly when it came to amends. It’s easy to talk through tweaks and changes and even better that she will explain why something has been done if there’s a reason behind it.

Getting covers to the correct dimensions, using cover template generators, correct file types and resolution is all within Venetia’s skill and scope. A painless process particularly for self-published authors.
